Tanning
NEW BULBS WERE INSTALLED ON JANUARY 14, 2008!!
Making Waves has one stand-up tanning booth with 44 bulbs. Our Wolff "Eurobronze"
bulbs are the newest technology, designed to deliver a "golden"
tan instead of a "reddish" tan. Maximum session time is 20 minutes. During
October 2005, we also installed a more powerful ceiling fan for client comfort. Please refer to the price
list for our package deals. Most evenings we work late until after 7pm, so
please don't hesitate to call and inquire about tanning availability. In addition, posted
salon hours are extended during the "tanning season."
Massage
WE NOW HAVE SEVERAL MASSAGE THERAPISTS
All massage therapists are self-employed and charge different hourly prices, ranging from $40
to $70. Chair Massage and Reflexology prices are $1.00 per minute. Some therapists offer
discount packages. The variety of prices reflects the length of time each has been practicing
Massage Therapy, as well as the additional training each has received during their careers.
Experience ranges from recent graduates to several with over 10 years in their profession.
Modalities available are: Acupressure, Conscious Breathwork, Cranio-Sacral Work, Deep Tissue,
Integrative Energy Therapy, Chair Massage, Polarity, Reflexology, Reiki, Shiatsu, Sports Injury
and Chronic Pain, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Touch for Health, Trigger Point and Pain Relief.
Sessions involve a combination of techniques designed to fit the needs and desires of the
individual. Appointments are available 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Although we do
not have therapists waiting for walk-ins, many are available with very short notice. Don't
hesitate to call or drop by at any time.
Invitations
Making Waves has one large social stationary book which includes wedding
invitations, all wedding accessories, as well as other special occasion
needs. Prices on ALL items are discounted by 20%, and delivery is available
in less than a week for most orders.
Boutique
Making Waves displays handcrafted jewelry, soaps, hair
accessories, and other selected items seasonally. |

Employment
Making Waves' licensed professionals are Independent Self Employed Booth
Renters. They each have their own 6 ft. lockable custom-built styling station
with their own sink and locking rollabout. A fully-equipped private room is shared for doing
pedicures, waxing, etc. A manicure table is also shared. Professional liability insurance is
included, as well as free tanning. If you are interested in working at Making Waves, please
